The Los Angeles Lakers have yet to make a significant move this offseason as the only two additions from last season's roster are Bronny James and Dalton Knecht. Despite the growing frustration among the Lakers fanbase, general manager Rob Pelinka stood pat so far, electing to bring back the team that lost in the first round of the playoffs.

That doesn't mean, however, that there aren't players available on the market who could help the Lakers. There may not be too many high-level free agents left but there are players on the trade block that Los Angeles could target. Using a combination of D'Angelo Russell, Rui Hachimura, Jalen Hood-Schifino, Gabe Vincent, and Jarred Vanderbilt with two first-round picks that they won, the Lakers could trade for one or two of the players listed below. Let's take a look.

Jerami Grant

The Portland Trail Blazers forward remains the player linked with the Lakers the most out of anyone on the trade block. The reports suggest that the Lakers are refusing to meet the exorbitant two first-round picks price the Blazers are asking for.

If the asking price were to go down, we can expect the Lakers to engage in negotiations again. For one first-rounder and matching salary, Jerami Grant could be an excellent addition to the Lakers. Adding much-needed size, athleticism, and two-way play on the wing, Grant is a good fit around LeBron James and Anthony Davis. Plus, he is a much-improved shooter, having hit 40% from downtown in each of the last two seasons.

The talent upgrade alone is worth paying the price for the veteran forward.
