4. Chris Rumph, LB

Linebacker Chris Rumph is another incumbent player who could easily lose his job in the near future.

Rumph's failed to make much of a difference since being taken by the team in the fourth round of the 2021 draft, notching 3.0 total sacks and four tackles for loss. He's also coming off of a very poor 2023 campaign where he was limited to only six contests to a foot fracture.

Now Rumph has landed on IR with another foot ailment, so he's already set to miss the entire 2024 season. That's the last thing he needed to make an impression on the new staff, and his second major health struggle makes their decision to move on easy.

5. JK Dobbins, RB

Running back JK Dobbins is no stranger to injury troubles. An ACL, LCL and hamstring tear in 2021 halted his promising start to his career, and after rehabbing, Dobbins then went down with an ACL tear after Week 1 of the 2023 campaign.

With only one season with at least double-digit games played since 2020, Dobbins' time in the NFL is in serious jeopardy if he can't shake the injury bug. Just look at the similarly electric Rashaad Penny, who retired from football this offseason after his health struggles.

Los Angeles seems to be more optimistic about fellow RB Gus Edwards, who was signed to a two-year deal immediately in free agency despite his own lengthy injury history. Meanwhile, Dobbins was inked to just a one-year pact, and he had to wait over a month from negotiations opening to get a contract -- showcasing his rock-bottom value around the league.

No one would be at all surprised if Dobbins simply can't perform to his standards given all his body has been through.
