5. Dresser Winn

Young quarterback Dresser Winn is in a similar boat as Rivers. He provides depth by being on the roster, but his impact beyond that is questionable.

Winn never appeared in a game for the Rams this season, and they sought out veteran Carson Wentz to solidify their QB room down the stretch instead of entrusting a practice squad option like Winn. It's a possibility Wentz returns in 2024 if no better offers come through, which would end the backup debate pretty quickly.

Winn's ceiling may be QB3, but rookie Stetson Bennett could very well be back next season after missing the entire 2023 campaign with an illness as well.

Regardless, Winn faces an uphill battle remaining on this roster given his lack of experience doesn't quite fit with a hopeful contender.
