Kyle Kuzma to Lakers

This would presumably be the easiest trade to execute. Kyle Kuzma wouldn't require as many assets as the previous targets on this list. The Washington Wizards are rebuilding and don't have much of a need for the soon-to-be 29-year-old Kuzma.

This means that the combo forward should be available in a package that includes the No. 17 overall pick in this year's draft, as well as a combination of Gabe Vincent, Jarred Vanderbilt, and Rui Hachimura.

This move would allow the Lakers to still have plenty of assets in their cabinet to make additional moves. Since leaving Los Angeles in 2021, Kuzma has blossomed into a solid two-way player who can guard multiple positions, rebound at an elite level, and provide all-around value on the offensive end.

He is not the best shooter or playmaker, or the most efficient scorer. However, he can do everything on that end of the floor. He can be a solid secondary shot creator. In three seasons in Washington, he has averaged 20.2 points, 7.4 rebounds, and 3.8 assists on 45.5/33.6/74% shooting splits. He is the type of player whose efficiency and impact could rise on a better team.

Plus, he is on a team-friendly contract for another three seasons. This alone should make him an intriguing trade target for the Lakers this offseason.
