Davante Adams

The veteran receiver is still one of the best wide receivers in the game and is arguably the best player the Rams could realistically acquire. How realistic it is, however, is open for debate.

Before the start of the season, Adams was considered a prime trade candidate. He is turning 32 this season and the Raiders aren't going anywhere. While he still has a ton of trade value, it made sense for Las Vegas to cash in on the six-time Pro Bowler.

However, the Raiders had a massive upset win against the Ravens in Week 2, with Adams showcasing his elite playmaking ability with nine catches, 110 yards, and a touchdown. They may start liking their chances in the AFC after that win and therefore be more reluctant to trade him.

It is still hard to imagine them turning down a massive trade offer that included a first-round draft pick. Whether the Rams should do that, however, is a different question.

Courtland Sutton

Similar to Darius Slayton in New York, here is another wide receiver whose prime is being wasted on a dysfunctional offense. The Denver Broncos aren't going anywhere as their prized rookie Bo Nix needs a few years to be a good NFL quarterback. In two games with him under center, Sutton has five catches on 16 targets and a total of 64 yards.

Sutton and the Broncos are already in a strained relationship. Earlier in the offseason, Sutton threatened the team with skipping training camp and eventually got them to add $1.5 million in incentives to his 2024 salary. This was enough to join the team but probably not sufficient to keep him happy there long-term.

The Broncos haven't sniffed the postseason during Sutton's tenure there. The Pro Bowler needs a change of scenery and the Rams could provide that for him.
