The 2024 NBA Draft and free agency are right around the corner and as it's always the case, LeBron James is the center of attention. Hitting free agency for the first time since 2018, James has the chance to completely alter the NBA landscape with his decision.

Even though it is not expected for LeBron to leave Los Angeles, some have already started publicly recruiting the 39-year-old. Chicago rapper and Bulls fan Lil Durk posted his recruitment efforts on Instagram.

Grammy Award-winning artist shared the screenshots of his interaction with James where he invited him and Bronny James to play in Chicago, saying he would even pay half of his salary if he needed to.

Lil Durk Recruiting LeBron James to the Chicago Bulls

This is not the first time the Bulls wanted LeBron. Back in 2010, Chicago was one of the frontrunners to sign LeBron when he hit free agency. Instead, he chose to join the Miami Heat, where he won two championships.

Considering how far the Bulls are from contending, it's impossible to imagine LeBron heading there. Bronny, on the other hand, is a different case.

The Bulls only have the No. 11 pick in the draft. They would obviously not select Bronny with that pick but they should easily be able to trade into the second round to draft him on Day 2. Even though Bronny didn't work out anywhere other than with the Lakers or the Suns, there is nothing stopping Chicago from doing that.

Perhaps that would give the Bulls some leverage in trade negotiations with the Lakers, but it's highly unlikely to help lure LeBron to Chicago.
