Chargers 2025 Super Bowl Odds are Total Surprise

It's a new day in Los Angeles. After a disappointing 5-12 season that saw the Chargers miss the playoffs for the fourth time in five seasons, there was a complete overhaul up and down the organization. The hiring of Jim Harbaugh gave a jolt to not only Bolts fans but seemingly to oddsmakers as well.
FanDuel Sportsbook recently released their Super Bowl LIX odds, and how high they are on the Chargers may surprise you.
Los Angeles Chargers 2025 Super Bowl Odds
FanDuel's opening odds have the Chargers with the 12th-best odds in the NFL to win Super Bowl 59 at +3000. They have the seventh-best odds in the AFC after the Ravens, Chiefs, Bills, Bengals, Dolphins, and Texans.
This is rather surprising considering the disastrous season the Bolts just had in 2023. In fact, the Chargers have the best odds of any team with a losing record in 2023. This is a testament to the amount of faith oddsmakers have in Jim Harbaugh and Justin Herbert.
These odds indicate that there is an expectation for the Chargers to make it to the postseason next year.
The team will certainly look entirely different on the sidelines but there needs to be improvements to the roster as well. Without significant cap space, major upgrades in free agency will be difficult to make. New general manager Joe Hortiz and Harbaugh need to nail their picks in the 2024 NFL Draft to fill the team's needs.
But this team certainly has the talent to be a playoff team next level. Whether they can become a serious contender after offseason moves remains a question mark.
