It's a new era in Los Angeles with significant changes in terms of front office, coaching, and roster already having taken place. Perhaps the one that hurts Chargers fans the most is the departure of Keenan Allen, who was traded to the Chicago Bears last week in exchange for a fourth-round pick.
Allen, who spent 11 seasons with the Chargers after being drafted in the third round of the 2013 NFL Draft, established himself as one of the greatest offensive players in franchise history. As a club icon, he earned himself a classy departure and the Chargers gave it to him with an emotional social media post.

Allen has been one of the most consistently productive offensive weapons in the league for the last decade. He surpassed 1,000 yards in six seasons, making the Pro Bowl six times in the process.
Even in his age 31 season in 2023, Allen finished with 108 receptions, 1,243 yards and seven touchdowns in 13 games.
He was merely a victim of bad management of earlier regimes and had to be moved for salary cap reasons. It would have been nice for both Allen and fans for him to retire in a Bolts uniform.
Instead, he will continue to rack up receptions and yards for the Bears now.
Allen's Chargers tenure ends with 904 catches and 10,530 receiving yards, the most out of all wide receivers in franchise history, and 59 scores, the second-most out of all Bolts wide receivers ever.
