D’Angelo Russell Calls Out Haters After Monster Performance
Lakers guard D'Angelo Russell has never faded away from the noise that comes with being a professional athlete.
Ever since arriving in LA, fans have consistently called for him to be traded but he has learned to block out the noise.
Russell is a creative ball handler and has a knack for scoring on three levels. The Ohio State product has been lights out from downtown this year and that continued in the Mar. 8 contest against the Milwaukee Bucks.
Russell dropped a Lakers career-high 44 points, nine assists, and made nine 3-pointers. Furthermore, he hit a game-winning shot to give Los Angeles the win.
With LeBron James sidelined for this contest, Russell stepped up and helped them secure the win.
The 28-year-old oozes confidence and spoke about it in the post-game press conference. Russell said, "Public humiliation has molded me into the killer that y'all see today. I never lack confidence, I never fear confrontation. I want all the smoke."
