The Los Angeles Dodgers will be must-see television as they have a star-studded lineup and an outstanding starting rotation. Los Angeles has one of the best starting staffs in the majors, which features Tyler Glasnow, Yoshinobu Yamamoto, Bobby Miller, and James Paxton.

For the Dodgers to reach the World Series this season, it will hinge on the success and health of their starting rotation. With those four starting pitchers locked in, it left one spot available in the rotation.

Dodgers News: Los Angeles Rounds out Starting Rotation With Gavin Stone

Los Angeles manager Dave Roberts told reporters on Monday that Gavin Stone will be the fifth starter in the rotation this season, per Fabian Ardaya of The Athletic. Stone is having a fantastic Spring Training that includes eight strikeouts and zero hits allowed in 3 ⅓ innings of relief work against Korea.

Last season, the 25-year-old Stone made eight appearances (four starts), recording a 9.00 ERA in 31 innings. The right-handed pitcher allowed 31 earned runs, 13 walks, eight home runs, and eight home runs.

It wasn’t a great showing by Stone in his first major league season, but to his credit, he’s done a complete 360-degree in Spring Training. The Dodgers hope Stone can hold down the fifth spot as they await the returns of Walker Buehler, Clayton Kershaw, and Emmett Sheehan.
