Week 12 – Baltimore Ravens at LA Chargers on Monday Night Football 

This is a tough matchup for the Chargers.

LA allowed 113.2 rushing yards per game (17th in the NFL) last season and struggled to stop Baltimore on the ground in a 20-10 loss last season in which the Ravens ran for 197 yards.

In an odd twist, LA now has Gus Edwards AND J.K. Dobbins, but Baltimore still has Lamar Jackson, Justice Hill and Keaton Mitchell along with newcomer Derrick Henry. 

Baltimore also happens to have one of the best (if not the very best) defenses in the NFL. 

It’s hard to see how LA stays in this game for four quarters, even though it’s only listed as a 3-point underdog in this game at DraftKings.

Week 14 – LA Chargers at Kansas City Chiefs on Sunday Night Football

Another brutal primetime matchup for LA awaits in Week 14 at Arrowhead.

The Chargers have lost their past two games at Arrowhead, including a 31-17 loss last season. 

Kansas City is back-to-back Super Bowl champs for a reason, and LA is in a bit of a rebuilding phase under new head coach Jim Harbaugh. 

No matter how you break down this matchup, it’s a stretch to say that LA is going to beat KC here, especially with the Chiefs likely pushing for playoff positioning and in their end-of-season stride.

LA is currently a 6.5-point underdog at DraftKings, and that feels about right.
