The Los Angeles Rams got back on track in 2023 after they had an injury-ridden year in 2022. The Rams were able to make the playoffs as the sixth seed in the NFC before getting knocked out by the Detroit Lions in the first round.

The roster underwent some overturn this offseason, with the biggest loss being Aaron Donald who retired this past March.

Meanwhile, they made quality additions in free agency that include guards Jonah Jackson, Kevin Dotson, safety Kamren Curl, and CBs Darious Williams and Tre'Davious White.

Now the Rams are looking to compete for another Super Bowl title and officially know how their 2024 schedule is going to pan out.

Los Angeles has five primetime games on the slate for next season and below we'll give predictions for each one of those matchups.

Sept. 8, Week 1 @ Detroit Lions, 5:20 P.T.

This will be the rematch of the Wild Card bout that took place on Jan. 14 at Ford Field. The Lions narrowly beat the Rams 24-23 but this time the Rams will be looking to get revenge, especially Matthew Stafford.

He played in Detroit for 12 seasons before getting dealt to the Rams in 2021. In the Wild Card loss, Stafford went 25-of-36 for 367 yards and two passing scores.

The Rams' offense has a bunch of solid pieces with Stafford, Cooper Kupp, and Puka Nucua but their defense will have some trouble defending Detroit's high-powered offense.

In 2023, the Lions were third in the NFL in total offense (394.8), second in passing offense (258.9), and fifth in scoring offense (27.4).

Los Angeles will have trouble slowing down Jared Goff, Jahmyr Gibbs, Amon-Ra St. Brown, and Sam LaPorta.

I expect a high-scoring game but the Lions to narrowly beat the Rams in the season opener.
