The Los Angeles Lakers enter the offseason with so many different questions to answer and voids to fill. They need to hire a new head coach and an entire coaching staff while finding a way to re-sign superstar LeBron James.

The NBA Draft is slated to take place on June 26-27 and the Lakers currently have two picks. This gives them an opportunity to find some young, cheap talent.

Although they haven't officially announced any draft workout yet, it appears the Lakers brought in a star from March Madness.

Lakers News: Los Angeles Reportedly Worked Out DJ Burns

On May 23, Burns posted on social media of him working out in the Lakers practice facility. Again, nothing has been confirmed but Burns was in the building and the Lakers certainly got a glimpse of him.

Burns was a breakout star during the NCAA Tournament for the NC State Wolfpack.

During the regular season, the South Carolina native averaged 12.9 points, four rebounds, and shot 53.1% from the field.

He took his game to another level in March and April. In the ACC Championship against North Carolina, Burns dropped 20 points and seven assists to lead his team to victory and punch their ticket into the Big Dance.

In the tournament, he had big games against Oakland (24 points) and Duke (29 points) en route to the Final Four.

Burns has also dropped 45 pounds ahead of the NBA Draft and is lighter than ever. Despite being 6'9 and around 230 pounds now, Burns has a bunch of post moves with a soft touch around the rim.

He's expected to be a second-rounder or go undrafted which could favor the Lakers as they own the No. 55 pick in the second round.

If they want Burns, they'll likely have the chance to snag him.
