The Los Angeles Clippers have a lot of questions to answer regarding their roster heading to the offseason.

After getting bounced in the first round by the Dallas Mavericks, management needs to reevaluate this group with James Harden hitting unrestricted free agency. In addition, Paul George is likely to opt out of his deal and become a free agent.

Back in January, the Clips gave Kawhi Leonard a three-year, $152.4 million extension. It has been revealed that Los Angeles wants George to take a deal similar to that but that isn't likely to happen.

Now the latest report highlights that George and the Clippers may have hit a roadblock.

Clippers News: Paul George and the Clippers Aren't On The Same Page

Brian Windhorst of ESPN was a guest on the "Pat McAfee Show" and was discussing what's going on between these two sides.

He explained that the two sides are currently "not on the same page".

The Philadelphia 76ers and the Orlando Magic are both expected to have interest in George if touches free agency. In addition, they have the money to offer the nine-time All-Star a max four-year, $212 million deal.

If the Clippers don't budge off their initial offer, they can risk the 34-year-old leaving town.

In the 2023-24 regular season, George averaged 22.6 points, 5.2 rebounds, and 3.5 assists in 33.8 minutes per game. He also shot 47.1% from the field and 41.3% from beyond the arc.

With Kawhi Leonard's health a massive concern and Harden hitting the open market, the Clippers can't afford to let George leave town.

But the latest news makes it seem like it's a real possibility.
