The NFL playoff bracket is set following another exciting season. The Los Angeles Rams locked down the No. 6 seed and will travel to take on the Detroit Lions.

Rams vs. Lions Opening Odds for Wild Card Round

FanDuel Sportsbook lists the Rams are 3.5-point underdogs against the Lions with +146 odds on the moneyline. The contest also features 51.5 total points.

Quarterback Matt Stafford will be making his return to Ford Field for the first time since being dealt in March 2021. The 35-year-old still has a big-time arm and can make any throw needed. Stafford finished the season seventh in passing yards (3,965), tied for 10th in passing touchdowns (24), and sixth in QBR (63.8).

The offense was potent all year long, averaging 365.6 total yards per game, which is good for seventh in the NFL. They are also eighth in scoring (23.9). This battle should favor the Rams' aerial attack. Detroit was 27th in passing yards allowed (247.4) with 28 passing scores given up in 2023.

Fans should feel good about taking the points. Los Angeles went 10-6-1 against the spread in 2023, covering in 62.5% of their matchups. This team has already shown its resilience in the postseason after securing Super Bowl LVI with Stafford at the helm.
