Rams Draft Picks: Full List of Los Angeles’ 2024 Picks and Trades
By Jovan Alford
The Los Angeles Rams had a solid bounce-back 2023 season as they finished with 10 wins and made it back to the postseason.
After struggling in 2022, many fans didn’t know what to expect from Los Angeles this season as head coach Sean McVay was coaching up a bunch of young players who stepped up down the stretch.
Rookies Puka Nacua and Kobie Turner made an immediate impact this season, which is great news for the Rams’ future. Los Angeles will look to keep adding to its future this offseason with 10 picks in the 2024 NFL Draft.
Below, we’ll look at each pick Los Angeles has in this year’s draft, including any compensatory selections and trades that helped them gain additional capital.

Rams 2024 Draft Trades
The Rams have 11 picks in the 2024 NFL draft, but two picks were acquired via a trade. Here’s how Los Angeles got that pick:
- The Rams traded a 2024 fourth-round pick, a 2025 fifth-round pick to the Steelers for offensive lineman Kevin Dotson, a 2024 fifth-round pick, and a 2025 sixth-round pick.
- Los Angeles also traded linebacker Kenny Young in 2021 and a 2024 seventh-round pick to the Denver Broncos for a 2024 sixth-round pick.
Compensatory Picks
The Rams are projected to have five compensatory picks in the 2024 draft, plus two for losing defensive coordinator Raheem Morris to the Atlanta Falcons.
In 2020, the NFL began handing out out compensatory draft picks to teams that lost a minority coach or executive (general manager, assistant GM, etc.) to another team.
Compensatory picks are given to teams across the league based on qualifying free agents signed or lost the previous offseason. These selections won’t be announced until later in the offseason.
Team Needs
The Rams will look to continue to add depth to their team after a successful 2023 season. They hope to find the next Nacua or Turner in this year’s class, but it won’t be easy. Here are some of the positions that Los Angeles should look to target in the spring:
- Linebacker
- Defensive Line
- Wide Receiver
- Tight End
- Cornerback
- Safety
