The first round of the 2024 NFL Draft officially takes place tonight at 5 p.m. PT. The Los Angeles Rams head into the draft with 11 total selections, including a first-round pick for the first time since 2016.

They are currently sitting at No. 19 overall but many reporters don't expect them to stay there. The Athletic's Dianna Russini dropped an insightful nugget on the Rams' plans for Day 1 of the NFL Draft.

Los Angeles Rumors: Rams Are Looking to Trade Up Into the Top 10

Russini has reported that the Rams are making calls and looking to move up into the top 10. That is certainly an interesting development due to the depth of this class. You can get a really good prospect at No. 19 without having to give up draft capital but there could be a player they fell in love with.

Jourdan Rodrigue, who covers the Rams for the Athletic, has also reported the Rams are gauging prices on a potential move up. She would be shocked if they stayed put at No. 19.

With multiple sources coming out saying this at once, Rams fans should be on the outlook for any potential moves on draft day.

Los Angeles can go many different routes with this selection. With Aaron Donald no longer on the team, you could see them moving up for a defensive tackle like Bryon Murphy from Texas. If they want more juice off the edge, a guy like Dallas Turner could be on their radar.

Maybe Sean McVay wants to nag Georgia tight end Brock Bowers and insert him into their high-powered offense featuring Matthew Stafford, Cooper Kupp, and Puka Nucua. A versatile lineman like Troy Fautanu could also be high on their big board.

No one knows what direction the Rams are leaning but we do know they want to move up.

According to FanDuel Sportsbook, offensive lineman is the favorite (+135) position to be first drafted by the Rams. With plus odds on even an o-lineman, however, it's clear that this is a total toss-up.
