Rams Reuniting With Member of Super Bowl Team in Free Agency
The Los Angeles Rams were active on the first day of free agency. They signed Jonah Jackson and retained Kevin Dotson to solidify the interior of the offensive line. Los Angeles also added tight end Colby Parkinson on a three-year, $22.5 million deal but that wasn't all they did.
They added to the defensive side and brought in a former player. Los Angeles and CB Darious Williams signed a three-year, $22.5 million deal but could get up to $30 million.
Rams News: Darious Williams is Heading Back to the Rams
Williams started his career with the Rams, playing from 2019-2022 with the team. Across those three seasons, the 30-year-old had 130 total tackles, 27 pass breakups, and snagged six interceptions.
He was also a valuable member of the Super Bowl LVI squad. Williams ended up signing with the Jacksonville Jaguars in March 2022 but was let go after two seasons with the club.
The UAB product is still a reliable defender who can make plays on the ball. Last season, Williams had 53 total stops with a career-high 19 pass breakups and four interceptions.
Williams immediately steps in the secondary and becomes a viable asset for the Rams.
