With the Los Angeles Lakers season officially over, it's time to focus on the 2024-25 season. For the second straight year, the Denver Nuggets ended the Lakers season and it's time for them to revamp the roster.

There have been countless rumors of Trae Young being dealt to Los Angeles this offseason but his latest move made that potential trade more difficult.

Lakers News: Trae Young Decided to Change Agencies from Klutch Sports to CAA Sports

Young took to Twitter and announced that he officially switched over to CAA Sports, leaving Klutch Sports behind.

Young has made it known to the Hawks that he wants to be in Atlanta for the long haul but wants to be a winner.

Since making the Eastern Conference Finals in 2020, the Hawks haven't made it past the first round which seems to be getting under the skin of Young.

Before leaving Klutch Sports, they helped Young secure a massive five-year, $215 million dollar extension in 2021.

This latest move adds some doubt to a potential trade between Young and the Lakers. Klutch Sports is an organization led by LeBron James and his agent Rich Paul.

There were rumors that Young was going to be moved by the Hawks during the regular season and the Lakers were listed as a possible destination.

Over the past couple of years, the Lakers have been actively looking to add a third star along side James and Anthony Davis.

They haven't been able to secure that player and Young's latest move certainly made things harder for both sides if they wanted to facilitate a deal.
