The USC Trojans added Bronny James, the son of LeBron James, to their university in 2023. Although James didn't have the impact he may have wanted in a Trojans uniform, it was still a great experience for both sides.

Despite the 2024 season starting later this fall, colleges are always looking to build for the future. The latest report reveals USC has taken the next step to land the son of a 10-time All-Star.

USC News: Kiyan Anthony Is Going To Visit USC

Joe Tipton of On3 Sports announced that shooting guard Kiyan Anthony, son of Carmelo Anthony, is going to visit USC. Kiyan is the No. 27 overall player in the 2025 class according to On3.

He is a four-star recruit and currently has two official visits with Syracuse and Florida State. In addition, he has offers from Providence, Seton Hall, Tennessee, Illinois, Pittsburgh, Dayton, Maryland, Michigan, UCF, West Virginia, and Arizona State.

Kiyan stands at 6-foot-5 and has been playing terrific basketball this summer on Team Melo at the EYBL Circuit. He's averaging 19.5 points, 4.6 rebounds, and 1.5 assists per game.

His offensive game is very smooth for his age. Anthony has a smooth jumper as a catch-and-shoot threat but also has the ability to score off the dribble. He owns a good range from beyond the arc and has solid instincts defensively.

Potentially getting Kiyan after getting Bronny James to commit to the university would be a massive win. They already have superstar Juju Watkins dominating the women's team and bringing more national attention to that squad.

Adding someone like Kiyan to the 2025 class is something USC is trying to do. And you can't blame them.
