Rams Announce Big Rookie Injury News at 1st Week 12 Practice
By Jovan Alford
The Los Angeles Rams are in the thick of the NFC West race after picking up a solid 28-22 road win over the New England Patriots last Sunday. The Rams have won four out of their past five games and will try to upset the Philadelphia Eagles on Sunday Night Football.
Los Angeles will have a tough challenge ahead of them as the Eagles are playing good football on both sides of the line of scrimmage. As the Rams started practice this week, the team had a player return from injury, which is a good sign this late into the season.
The Rams announced on Wednesday that rookie offensive lineman K.T. Leveston returned to practice.
The former Kansas State lineman has been on injured reserve for most of the 2024 season due to an ankle injury he suffered in a training camp practice against the Los Angeles Chargers. Los Angeles selected Leveston in the seventh round of the 2024 NFL Draft.
Leveston had a good collegiate career at Kansas State, where he was a star over the last two seasons with the Wildcats. The 6-foot-4 lineman starred at left tackle during those years, winning Honorable Mention All-Big 12.
With Leveston off injured reserve, the Rams are getting much-needed tackle depth ahead of Sunday’s game. Leveston is slotted in at left tackle, but Los Angeles has right tackles Rob Havenstein and Joe Noteboom both listed as questionable.
However, head coach Sean McVay told reporters on Monday that Havenstein, who is dealing with an ankle injury, is “trending in the right direction” to return against the Eagles.
