The Los Angeles Rams overcame all sorts of adversity on Monday night to come away with a dominant 27-9 win over the Minnesota Vikings. In a game that was moved to Arizona following the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles, the Rams demonstrated why you should never underestimate the heart of a champion.

Before the wild-card round, the Rams were a 2.5-point underdogs against the Vikings. At no point in the game, however, did they look like the underdogs. On the back of a playoff record-tying nine sacks, the Rams defense carried the team to a massive divisional-round matchup against the Philadelphia Eagles.

The oddsmakers continue to not learn from their mistakes, however. On FanDuel Sportsbook, the Rams opened as 5.5-point underdogs against the Eagles.

Eagles vs. Rams Betting Odds

Spread: Rams +5.5: -110 | Eagles -5.5: -110
Moneyline: Rams +198 | Eagles -240
Total: Over 44.5: -105 | Under 44.5: -115

The Rams are +198 underdogs to win against the Eagles. This implies that the Rams only have a 33.5% chance to win on Sunday. That seems far too low for a team that has won five straight before resting its starters in the regular-season finale.

After starting the season 1-4 following serious injuries to key starters, the Rams hit their stride following their Week 6 bye. Since then, they only lost two games other than the meaningless Week 18 loss to the Seahawks. They are undefeated on the road in that stretch.

It is obviously important to note that one of those two losses came against the Eagles in Week 12. The Rams have been able to beat the Eagles once in their last nine games. However, the way the pass rush looked and the defensive line looked against the Vikings, this team has a chance against anybody, including the red-hot Philadelphia Eagles.
