In the weeks leading up to Tuesday’s trade deadline, there were rumors and discussions about the Los Angeles Rams trading veteran cornerback Tre’Davious White.
White hasn’t played since the Rams’ Week 4 contest against the Chicago Bears and has been inactive for the last four games. Late last month, ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler reported that the Rams and White were discussing options for his future, including a possible trade.

Fowler also said the Rams were open to keeping the veteran cornerback, knowing things could change.
That said, the Rams have honored White’s wishes ahead of the 4 p.m. ET deadline. According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, Los Angeles is sending White and a 2027 seventh-round pick to the Baltimore Ravens for a 2026 seventh-round pick.

Based on his play this season with the Rams, it’s not shocking that the Rams only got a Day 3 selection back for White. In the four games White played, the veteran defender recorded 12 combined tackles and two pass deflections.
The 29-year-old cornerback wasn’t the best in pass coverage with a 138.4 pass rating allowed when targeted and four receiving touchdowns given up.
The Rams took a chance on the veteran cornerback this offseason, signing him to a one-year, $4.25 million deal. White had his last two years with the Buffalo Bills cut short by injury, playing in 10 total games.
The Bills released White on Mar. 13, designating him a post-Jun. 1, freeing up $10.2 million of cap space. White will look to return to his Pro Bowl form with the Ravens. Meanwhile, the Rams hope their secondary continues to improve throughout the second half of the regular season.
