Chris Bragg
A life-long Orange County resident who grew up on a baseball diamond. I was fortunate enough to play against or along side numerous big-leaguers at one point or another including Prince Fielder, Cole Hamels, Sergio Santos, Justin Turner, David Huff, and was a high school teammate of our very own Mark Trumbo.
After my playing days I became deeply fascinated with the analytical side of the game. Understanding the importance of these “new-age” metrics came easily as they backed up everything I’ve ever known to be important in winning ball games; scoring and preventing runs.
My infatuation with Angels baseball began as a five-year old t-baller playing for the (who else?) Olive Little League Angels and grew throughout the years. As a player, my dream came true in June of 2002 when I stepped onto the field at The Big “A” to play in the C.I.F. Southern Section Championship. As a fan, my defining moment came on October 27th, 2002, when the Halos locked up their first World Series title in franchise history.
I earned my B.A. in Organizational Communication from California State University-Chico and make a living raising funds to provide services for men, women, and children infected or affected by HIV/AIDS in Orange County.
