The Los Angeles Rams defense has just improved once again in this off-season by signing former New England Patriots DL Dominique Easley to the roster.

This Rams defense keeps on improving throughout the off-season and will be a force to be reckoned with come the regular season.

Easley was released by the Patriots last month and signed a one year contract with the LA Rams.

He earned a Super Bowl ring with New England.

Unfortunately he was not able to play in the Super Bowl as he was put on injured reserved just before the post-season in what was a dominating performance by him before he injure himself.

He knows what it is like to be on a playoff, Super Bowl winning team, although he did not play in the post-season in the New England Patriots Super Bowl 49 win due to a thigh injury, but he did earn a ring for all he did in the regular season.

"DT Dominique Easley makes five 1st round picks on the Los Angeles Rams' defensive line"

Easley adds playoff and Super Bowl experience to this young Rams defense, who as a team do not have experience in the playoffs although he was placed on injured reserved before the 2014 post-season.

You can make a claim he is prone to injury after tearing both his ACls at Florida but after the season(s) he had with New England no one would have known he was injured before because of how dominant his play was.

Having played for a coach in Bill Belichick he has great experience that he is bringing to the LA Rams and great mentorship.

Remember New England drafted him to replace nose tackle Vince Wilfork after he left to the Houston Texans.

He filled the void for New England really well.

They also played him at the defensive end positions and he did just as fine or even his improved I think.

He is just such a force to be reckoned with because he can take up space, yet he is quick off the ball and smart player despite his injuries.

Easley is a nice fit next to third year defensive tackle Aaron Donald who was one of the best rookies in 2014.

The Rams may have lost key defensive players early in the off-season but they keep on finding players to help rebuild and build their defense into something great.

Ironically enough defensive Chris Long was released by the LA Rams and picked up by the New England Patriots and Easley was released by New England and picked up by LA.

Oh by the way did I mention these two teams play each other in the 2016 regular season in Foxborough.

Defense Wins Championships!

Can they and will they win the Super Bowl this year?

Or is it too soon to say anything and we need to give them time since they drafted a rookie quarterback with an arm like a cannon, who can throw the ball deep, has the NFL proweress, a running back he can hand the ball off to, and receivers he can make short throws for completions to move the chains.

I do think the Rams will be fine and their rookie quarterback Jared Goff may have some struggling pains, but in the end it will work out where he will have a great NFL career as long as he stays healthy because he is a smart player.

In order for the Rams to make the Super Bowl all Goff would have to do is hand the ball off, make short completions that turn into first downs and throw the long ball here and there and your defense will do the rest.

They as the Rams can play at times as a playoff caliber team a they did just go 7-9 and barely miss the playoffs.
