The Los Angeles Angels find themselves in a bewildering situation. Despite having the best player in baseball, the team is struggling to put together a good campaign.

The Los Angeles Angels may be in some deep trouble in the very near future. As of now, Mike Trout is the primary reason that the club is still somewhat relevant. With literally no farm system to speak of, if the Angels cannot start winning now they likely will many more bad seasons in them.

The Angels are trying desperately to acquire any talent that could compliment Mike Trout and win ball games. I am sure Trout loves the Angels and would like to spend his entire career there, but if there are no signs of future success why would Trout tarnish his own legacy?

Jeter was a Yankee his entire career because they won, of course, there are outliers such as Todd Helton and the Rockies, but even they made a World Series appearance. Mike Trout likely wants to win ball games, as the only thing eluding him at this point is any sort of playoff success.

Granted, the Angels have had some pretty bad luck with injury, but that just bleeds out their lack of depth. The Dodgers set a record for the most players to be placed on the DL in one season, and what did they do? Made it to the NLCS and won their division.

With no near future in the farm system, the Angels are going to have to make some moves. Whether these moves bring in quality farm talent, or big league ready talent, they need to supplement what they already have.

They already have a young, promising pitching staff – they need to build up from there. Here are three players that the Angels may deal this season.
