Many Dodgers rumors are circling after the team’s sluggish first month. With immense struggles versus left-handed pitching, may we see a prominent lefty dealt?

Joc Pederson is my favorite Dodger, there is no question about that. I love Clayton Kershaw, Corey Seager, Adrian Gonzalez – all of them. However, for some reason or another, Joc Pederson has stuck with me. Every time I see a monster home run I cheer at the top of my lungs, every time I see that looping swing miss a fastball I agonize alongside Pederson.

I do not want to see Pederson dealt, as he holds more value that we realize. He is a great fielder and is making leaps and bounds at the plate, and as MLB coaches work on his swing he will only get better and better.

However, when going through the disgruntled Dodger fan community I have noticed a common trend – fans really want to see Pederson go. Amidst the Ryan Braun and Yasiel Puig trade talks I see more people crying out to get rid of Pederson that any other player.

Of course, dictating the direction of the franchise based on fan cry alone is ridiculous, this is a business and there are people smarter than you and I running this organization. However, with the left-handed struggles persisting, this is seemingly like a more viable option.

The Dodgers need pitching after their struggles and more importantly needs an impact right-handed bat. With a small contract, and still tremendous upside, the Dodgers may have the best luck in dealing Pederson.

Therefore, with that being said, let’s take a look at possible trade packages for Joc Pederson according to these Dodgers rumors.
