Ultimate Goal

While it is not a sure lock that USC, despite being labeled favorites by many, can win the Pac-12, a season NOT winning the Pac-12 this season would be a letdown.
The Trojans have 15 returning starters and have the ability to plug-in quality players with game experience where they have had holes.

The Trojans CAN win the Pac-12 with their experienced players in comparison to the likes of many of their peers who have larger holes to fill in regards to playmakers, linemen, and quarterbacks.
The ultimate goal, no doubt, is winning the National Championship. USC has the talent to get there. Question is, do they have the DEPTH to reach the title game?
In short, not quite. With the 2016 recruiting class turning out no shortage of amazing talent to deepen the Trojans, USC will have to stay near-perfect in health and conditioning to win a national title. They will get CLOSE, but the Trojans will need another year to build a consistent title contender, at the dismay of Cody Kessler.
Prediction: USC loses the semi-final to Ohio State.
