NFL to LA: Rams Ready To Rock

NFL to LA looks to be coming to a close, with the St. Louis Rams making their talents heard loud and clear.

Nothing quite like a game that could be a team’s final home game in that city, right?

Wrong — add the brightest uniforms in the history of sports and you might have yourself an argument.

From every angle on the field, the St. Louis Rams looked electric and ready to move to Los Angeles as the sure fire team that the city would need if football were to return.

Having the Rams back would mean the city is choosing to return to their roots and go with their gut. Los Angeles could end up being home to the Chargers and/or Raiders, but it’s all still up in the air.

Plus, who wouldn’t want the Rams to come to LA after last night’s game?

It was one of the harder games to watch if you take into consideration just how bright the color clash was of highlighter yellow and blood red.

Starting to think like the league might be taking the whole “Color Rush” thing a little far, don’t you think?

Back to the LA situation.

Whether or not it’s Nick Foles or Case Keenum running the show at quarterback, the Rams have all of the offensive talent to make an immediate splash back in the city wishing to call it home again.

Homecomings can be all across the spectrum emotionally, but this kind of homecoming doesn’t seem like it’d have any loose ends or rear any ugly heads in the process.

It’d just bring good football back to a city that’s been waiting far too long for it — and there’s nothing wrong with getting a little anxious about all that.

The running game of the Rams seems like it’d be the smoothest feel for fans in Los Angeles — especially with Todd Gurley continuing to dominate as a rookie.

It’s tough, gritty, and a great way to show the dynamics of what it means to be an authentic football team with duel threats on offense.

Don’t get wrong, the Rams have plenty of air power to make any game exciting, but the excellent run game gives them an added bonus of coming to Southern California.

A final note regarding the Rams is their ability to win against the best teams in the league.

The Rams have one road win this year — and guess who that was?

The near-best team in the NFC, the Arizona Cardinals.

All the Rams really need to do is hone in on their identity.

Things were a little unclear when the whole Nick Foles thing went south quickly, but now that there’s a little more understanding at the QB position, it’s almost certain things will shape up.

Neither the Seahawks nor the Cardinals are really built to be dynasty-style for much longer, and outside of that, the 49ers are going to take a while to rebuild.

Bottom Line: Electric is excellent.

In the mean time, the Rams can regain their elite status.

Just not sure if they’ll be coming from St. Louis by then.
