You could compare the first half that Patrick Kane is having to Tom Brady through his first 10 games in 2015-2016. Kane has been an absolute offensive menace. Through 45 games played this season, Kane has amassed 25 goals and 38 assists.

Those 63 points lead the league with a comfortable margin to spare.

Most impressively, Kane has been able to perform this well while also dealing with the negative spotlight of a sexual assault accusation that came to the forefront during the off-season.

Kane is only 25 points from his previous career best and if he can continue his scorching start, he will blow by that record and the rest of the NHL for that matter.
