Lakers Have Chance To Beat Warriors
The Lakers look to do two things tonight — earn win their tenth win of the season and hand Golden State a second straight loss.
Tonight the Los Angeles Lakers travel to the bay area to visit the Golden State Warriors, who earned their third loss of the season Wednesday against the Denver Nuggets while without Draymond Green.
Taking into consideration the way the Lakers have been playing they have a chance of defeating the Warriors or even coming close.
Especially after the way they played Oklahoma City the third time they met.
If Green sits out again then they will have a better possibility of wining.
However, Kobe Bryant may be sitting out as well so that does slim their chances.
Yet, when they came back from a 27-point deficit against the Sacramento Kings and almost won, that was without Kobe.
Therefore, there is a chance — and we all need to remember this is a rebuilding process.
Their last eight games, they have played tremendously much better basketball than when the season started.
As a team they are coming together, they are communicating on defense and it showing; and on offense their chemistry is visibly improving and they are communicating as well.
All this said a Lakers team with a healthy Kobe turning back the clock is able to stay pace to pace with the Warriors and beat them.
Yet, without Kobe their chances do slim or do they improve?
Since they are building chemistry they have even been surviving and winning with or without Kobe.
Without him they are able to speed up the tempo which is what they will need to do tonight.
With Kobe he can go with the fast paced tempo but maybe to counter the Warriors it is best to have a veteran in him on the floor as a leader and to slow down the tempo.
Either way the Lakers have been playing fine whether he is in or not.
They have built chemistry with everyone and that includes Bryant.

Tonight, I see the Lakers handing Golden State another loss.
This would be their fourth loss and first back-to-back losses for them.
After I saw this young and upcoming team against the Kings and Thunder for the second or third game against them they were much improved — I can only wait to see and watch tonight’s game.
If they are going to win they are going to need more than just three key things.
Here is my keys to Los Angeles defeating Golden State in the Bay Area:
- Do not turn it over
- Get to the foul line
- Shoot and make high percentage shots- also take what they give you.
- Limit the Warriors to only shoot three pointers and contest their shots.
- Winning the rebound battle
