The Los Angeles Angles of Anaheim missed the playoffs by 2 games this season.

This is a year after they made the playoffs winning their division.

Two years ago, they were the team to beat, to make the World Series, and to even win the World Series.

However, that year, the Kansas City Royals made it all the way to the World Series losing to the San Francisco Giants.

The Royals are the teams that defeated the Angels in the playoffs in their magical run yet the Royals magical run outshines the Angels.

The next year in 2015 Kansas City would go on to win the World Series.

For the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim, the question that lingers is, “What is the next step?”

Do they need to release players, acquire players off of waiver or free agency, trade players, trade staff, or just does the team need to play with more heart desire and togetherness.

The year they made they playoffs the acquired Josh Hamilton from the Texas Ranger then the next year they released him and he went back to the Rangers who last year defeated the angels in the last series of the season eliminating them from the postseason.

They proved even without Hamilton they are good enough to make the playoffs.

They were 2 games from making it but they are playoff contenders.

What they need to do is play as they did the last 2 years.

The year Hamilton was in Anaheim when they had one of the best records in MLB Trout had of his best seasons as an Angel.

Mike Trout and the team need to have a tremendous run this season.

Trout needs to have an MVP season along with the team and they need to work together and together they can accomplish anything and even win the world series.

That is their next step for them to accomplish and it all starts with manager Mike Scioscia and everyone believing they can accomplish that goal.

This is going to be his fifth season as an Angel.

He is reaching his prime and after what his third year was like for him I can’t even imagine who great he will be in his prime.

Basically the Angels drafted a great outfielder in the long term for them.

If he can replicate the season he had 2 years ago an influence the team and they can have a great season as him as a team they will be dangerous.

I do not think they need to do anything.

Maybe the only thing they need to do is draft a pitcher the MLB draft for the long term.

Instead of trading for players or picking players up off free agency or the waiver wire all the team needs to do is play with more will, chemistry, togetherness, determination, and heart.
