67. 4. 103. Final. 3

The Los Angles Kings were doing great before drowning in an avalanche Wednesday night.

They held their opponent to no points in the first period while they scored two points.

The Avalanche scored two goals in the second period to tie it up, yet the Kings scored one goal to make it 3-2.

Heading into the third period they held on to the lead in a close game.

Colorado scored one goal to tie the game and held the Kings to a goose egg.

After the goal the game was tied 3-3 in a nail biter.

The Kings lost 4-3 on a game winning goal by their opponent, halfway through the 3rd period at the 9 minute mark.

  • The team started out the game great, lost their focus halfway through the game, came back, took the lead, then they lost in the 3rd period because they were shut out and lost focus totally.

The Kings should have won this game.

Colorado was able to outlast and outplay them for a full three period game; where the Kings stopped playing in the 3rd period.

Currently fourth in the Western Conference, I can say they are doing bad – this was just a bump in the road.

This game was like a speed bump; and the speed bump is good for them.

It is better to lose games now in the present, than in the future in the playoffs.

Looking at it this way it is good to make mistakes now, correct them now after losses or wins; than to make mistakes in the playoffs lose and not be able to correct them.

Because after they lose the series they go home.

The Los Angles Kings winning the next Stanley Cup would be a great start for the city of Los Angeles in sports.

After all, the Rams just moved back to LA and it would spark the other teams in the city in all sports to do good and help bring the city together as well.

Speed bumps are placed in the road to slow traffic down and to keep the people and the surrounding areas safe.

This loss to Colorado was like a speed bump for the kings.

This loss will help the team slow down and look around the team and organization to see what they need to keep doing to continue to have success.
