The Pro Bowl for the NFL the last few years has moved to the week before the Super Bowl, but that didn’t affect the Oakland Raiders showing up for the 2016 Pro Bowl.

The NFL made this move to help earn more viewership and ratings.

I think it actually hurt the viewership because the big names like Tom Brady and Eli Manning were not in the Pro Bowl because they were in the Super Bowl and fans want to see them play because they are all stars and Hall-of-Famers.

After making that change, they decided to make another change.

For as long as it’s been around, this game has always been the AFC All-Stars verse the NFC All-Stars.

That would change; some would say for the worst.

In the last three seasons the league switched it to where two former players have a draft and they pick players for their team and the coaches to coach their team.

Therefore in the case you can have two players from the AFC conference playing against each other instead of with each other.

The league did this to earn more ratings and viewership.

This decision has hurt them too yet they keep deciding to do it.

With multiple friends and people I have talked to, they said now “the Pro Bowl is a joke” and they would rather they go back to the previous way.

One person told me they should do what the NHL and NBA do and have skills competition, speed challenge, kicking challenge, and more.

I agree with him and I know this wold help increase ratings for the league to make more profit and display football to more people in the world.

It isn’t like the league needs more profit. However that profit does help pay for the game, the people that are involved with it, and even the owners.

With the league adding a skills competition and moving it back to after the Super Bowl where players from the Super Bowl can play will increase ratings even more because the All-Stars form the two teams in the Super Bowl.

One reason this All Star game seem like a joke to most fans is because mots players do not try their best to play int he game.

They go hard yet they won’t tackle or hit the other players hard because it is supposed to be fun environment at the game.

Also if the players get hurt it can mess their contracts up with their respective teams.

The owners of the teams need to let the players have fun and even compete and not have their contracts messed up if they get hurt.

This will help viewership.

I understand player safety but the players would like this and they will play safe.

For example look at the basketball all star game it it fun and competitive.

This year the Oakland Raiders led the 2016 Pro Bowl with six players headed to the pro bowl voted in or replacing other players who were injured or did not want to be there and dropped out.

There is one Raider player missing in the picture — fullback Marcel Reece.

This is one reason the Raiders are relevant to the 2016 Pro Bowl along with how well the team played this season.

Within the next two seasons this young team will make the playoffs an eventually win their division, in a division where they were able to compete this year.

They just need more time to practice and build chemistry.

The Raiders players at the Pro Bowl is good because it will help them build chemistry, it is a good experience, the experience will help them share with the team and make the team want to come next year therefore making them play harder and helping the team in doing good all season.
