The Rams’ quarterback situation is really sticky in my eyes.

I understand the Rams want to give their current quarterbacks confidence right now, but this is still a need that will have to be addressed either in free agency or in the NFL draft.

However, I think they need to address the quarterback situation in both off-season tasks.

Ryan Fitzpatrick will help this team in many ways; both in the present and in the future. Moreover, Fitzpatrick can lead this team competitively to a wild card berth or to winning the division.

That goal can’t be met with the current quarterbacks on the roster.

Fitzpatrick is a veteran quarterback that can lead this young Rams team to new heights.

Additionally, bringing Fitzpatrick in will help Jeff Fisher continue his tenure in Los Angeles.

Fitzpatrick can help young receivers Tavon Austin, Brian Quick and veteran wide receiver Kenny Britt.

Therefore, signing Ryan Fitzpatrick will help the Rams immediately become in the conversation of potentially making a playoff run and in the future it may pave the way for a young QB they may draft in this upcoming draft.
