Buddy Hield Oklahoma University.

In his senior season he averaged 35 minutes, nearly a full game and he also averaged 25 points and 6 rebounds and a lonely 3 assists.

In the professionals his assists average will increase, because he will have to rely on his teammates and not do all the work himself.

This also means his rebounding average should increase and he could be averaging a double-double or triple-double in a game.

He is a playmaker, a shooter, and most importantly a defender.

Not many critics agree the Lakers should draft him because they want a top 2 pick, however lets not forget the number 1 pick is usually a bust and the number 2 pick usually does well.

A couple examples are Kevin Durant and Lamarcus Aldridge.

The Lakers need to be smart with who they pick and if the 76ers select Ingram then Hield makes the most sense for them, because they need a primary defender who can shut down All-Stars on opposing teams.

Hield will be able to improve his offense throughout the year as well as his already great defense.

The Lakers will be dangerous quickly by making the correct draft choice and free agency choices.

Just as the Celtics quickly rose up to stardom quietly with a new coach and many player personnel moves, the Lakers can do the same and have an impact in the league.
