2016 NBA Predictions: A look at each team in the league

How Memphis handles the upcoming season will show us a new (and expensive) way to look at the phrase “put your money where your mouth is.”

The team sure showed the money side of things, giving point guard Mike Conley the richest contract in league history valued at upwards of $150 million.

That’s not a typo.

Health was the biggest determining factor for a Grizzlies team that is capable of hanging tough with any and every team in the NBA.

When fully healthy, they can even hold their own against Golden State.

While that’s yet to be proven in a playoff series, that’s what this season will turn into for Memphis.

Just a hair ahead of Dallas, the Grizzlies will slide into the playoffs as the seventh seed and a game behind both Utah and Los Angeles for a higher seed.
