2016 NBA Predictions: A look at each team in the league

New York Knicks
Carmelo Anthony finally got some help in New York to try and turn the Knicks into a serious playoff contender.
Former Chicago Bulls Derrick Rose and Joakhim Noah ended up in New York in the offseason, along with Courtney Lee.
Those four will be alongside last year’s sensation in Kristaps Porzingis.
One of the major reasons that New York will be able to compete is that they have a complete team that has experience.
It was clear that Rose needed a fresh start after things crumbled quickly in Chicago — luckily for him, New York is the best place for him to do that.
Porzingis has the least experience of all of the Knicks starters, and even he’s shown that he’s able to exceed expectations after a solid rookie season.
New York stood in third place of the Atlantic division with just 32 wins to show for it.
Given the tests they’ll get from Toronto and Boston, let alone the rest of the conference, will be very telling.
Derrick Rose sounded confident in his team that at one point in the offseason he noted that they were a super team, similar to the current Golden State Warriors and previous Miami Heat teams.
While that’s a big stretch, it’s not far-fetched to say that the Big Apple will finally make some noise in the playoffs and come in the top three of their conference.
Season Prediction: (49-33), 2nd in Atlantic
