This is the rumor that simply won’t go away.

The allure of hiring somebody with the personality and resume (95-81 lifetime, Super Bowl ring) of Gruden is unparalleled.

There are literally zero indications from Gruden that he wants to get back into coaching.

So why won’t the rumors die?

Because Gruden is fiery, intense, energetic, and likable.

He’s the anti-Fisher.

For a franchise that has nearly worn out it’s L.A. welcome in less than one full season, Gruden would be an incredible anchor for the future of the organization.
