UCLA Bruins’ Kari Korver has career-high night
Kari Korver leads the UCLA Bruins to another victory.
Kari Korver and the UCLA Bruins women basketball team once again won a conference game.
This team continues to be fantastic.
Yes they have lost four games, yet they always find a way to bounce back.
They always seem to have different players have big performances every week.
Kari Korver was the player of the night amongst both teams recording a career-high 24 points, along with 5 rebounds, 1 assist.
Every game she has started she has been relatively quiet, but knocking down key baskets to help the Bruins in their victories.
Also, when she isn’t productive on the scoreboard, she is making hustle plays on the defensive end.
When the Bruins make the NCAA March Madness Tournament, if they do Kari Korver is the teams x-factor. All teams know what she is capable of accomplishing.
There are just some nights where she is making plays that don’t show up in the box score. For example, saving loose basketballs heading out of bounds and setting screens for teammates to get open.
Maybe this performance by Kari Korver will ignite the bench to be productive by scoring points when they are on the floor.
Or on second thought, should Kari Korver come off the bench?
The Bruins have multiple play-makers on their team.
For example, Jordin Canada is one of them who had 9 assists and was one assist from a double-double with 11 points.
If Korver came off the bench would she improve her passing game by racking up assists?
The Bruins are winning games since they found their rhythm.
However the committee has not given the much credit as they have stayed ranked at 13 for the third straight week.
