Let the Magic happen

Magic Johnson was recently hired to the front office to be an adviser for ownership. He will be meeting with Jim Buss and Mitch Kupchak during the All-Star break to discuss the future of the team.

Mitch Kupchak is one of the few front office staff whose job is at stake. Jim Buss would have to step down as he is a co-owner of the team. It does not look right now as if any of that will happen.

Magic respects the front office staff. He just wants to hear their reasoning for their past decisions. He also wants to hear their ideas for future decisions for the organization. General Manager Mitch Kupchak and his future with the team is still uncertain.
