Kentavious Caldwell-Pope

What a name.

Well, at least the list ends in a unique way, right?

Current Pistons guard Kentavious Caldwell-Pope is another name for the Lakers to consider this off-season. For the Pistons, Caldwell-Pope is playing in his fourth season.

Since being picked up by Detroit, he’s shone that he can either be a scorer that helps keep his team in front but also can go silent. It’s not necessarily a major red flag, but it’s something the team must consider.

In that consideration, Magic Johnson will have to decide whether or not he’ll help the young core more than hurt them. Above all else, belief in the younger players the Lakers currently have is a piece of what helps Johnson set himself apart.

Caldwell-Pope doesn’t average bad scoring nights, currently holding a 14 point, three rebound, and three assist stat line.

Problem with this is if the Lakers select a guard in the upcoming draft.
