Oklahoma City Thunder

There’s no place like home, right?

We’ve seen it time after time, and it wouldn’t be a bad thing for Griffin to do. LeBron James and Dwayne Wade are the bigger names with homecomings that took place in free agency.

Why not Griffin?

After Kevin Durant left OKC for Golden State, it’s been all Russell Westbrook. Not that the former UCLA point guard minds, but despite his tremendous triple double consistency, it won’t be enough to win a championship without the right help.

It’s still hard to believe that James Harden was also on the Thunder at one point. But hey, bygones are bygones.

At power forward, the Thunder could use a star to get back into prime position to fight for the Western Conference. They’re doing all they can in the first round against Houston, but in an ever evolving game, it’s never wrong to consider shaking things up a bit.

They’ve got Domantas Sabonis and Nick Collison at the same position Griffin plays. If they’re able to persuade him to join them in the off-season, imagine the tandem that could come between him and Russell Westbrook.

It could prove to be his best shot at a title on a Western Conference team. Other than that, he’ll be better off landing on the Eastern Conference.
