The biggest chance of being dealt:

  • Yasiel Puig

We have talked about it before, and here we are talking about it again. Chances are that we may not see Yasiel Puig end the 2017 MLB season in a Dodgers uniform. As hard as that is for me to say and as hard as it is to imagine, with what is possibly on the table, it is seemingly inevitable.

Now, I am not one to bash on Yasiel Puig and demand his trade. Ever since his debut in 2013 so, many fans have cried out for Puig to be dealt, that he does not try hard enough, that he is a flop, that he is a locker room nightmare. Quite frankly, I do not buy into all that, simply put I think Puig will be dealt because of Ryan Braun.

More from Dodgers Rumors

Ryan Braun talks once again fizzled up to begin the year after the Dodgers continued to struggle against left-handed pitching. Braun is under contract for several more seasons and would give the Dodgers a huge boost on offense. This year alone Braun is batting .348 against left-handed pitching, matching his .344 average last season.

Braun is undoubtedly exactly what the Dodgers need to take that extra step into the World Series. He absolutely mashes southpaws, he is a good fielder, and he is still an above-average hitter against right-handed pitching.

Even Corey Seager and Justin Turner struggle against lefties, Braun would finally give the Dodgers someone who can hit both.

Yasiel Puig has been the biggest rumored trade chip involving this deal, and quite frankly, the Dodgers should pull the trigger. As a fan, I am sick and tired of waiting around for the Dodgers to make that next step. The Dodgers must take the risk, deal Puig, and make a run for the World Series.

Next: Justin Turner is the most underrated player in baseball

Overall, the Dodgers rumors revolving around all of these guys will continue to persist. Some guys are untouchable, with some ready to depart. All I know is that if the Dodgers want to compete with the Chicago Cubs, Washington Nationals, Boston Red Sox, and Cleveland Indians they must make some sort of move.
