Closing Thoughts

At the end of the day, the Lakers fan base is left with little option except to trust that Magic Johnson will do what’s best for the franchise.

It’s hard to imagine that the team would mess up the pick, but that could all come crumbling down. Another factor that both fans and the franchise must keep in mind is that they could end up with a bust.

Who that bust will be or could be isn’t determined yet, but that’s part of the game.

All four of these prospects make sense for different reasons, but they can only have one. Three of them change the team’s outlook at point guard, while the fourth would change the team as a whole.

Moving forward, keeping their young core intact is just as important as any draft pick they get. Chemistry is the final key for this team to get back to the playoffs, and Magic Johnson knows he’s got a lot of weight on his shoulders.
