Indiana Pacers

A surprise team on this list has more than just one question facing it as the franchise prepares to go forward. One of their biggest stars, Paul George, seems all but headed to the Los Angeles Lakers.

Whether that’ll be through trade or free agency is still to be determined, but either way he’ll be gone soon. For right now, though, grabbing a guy like J.J. Redick might be their miracle shot at keeping him in town.

C.J. Miles playing the starting role of shooting guard for the Pacers, who were eliminated in the first round of the playoffs. Redick averaged more points than Miles, with experience coming with it as well.

Lance Stephenson is back in town, but that’s not necessarily a good thing. George criticized Stephenson during their playoff series, and that wasn’t the first time the superstar had publicly called his team out.

Redick may not like that type of environment, especially given that George will demand a lot more of the team next season, even if it is his last in Indiana.

But in any case, that doesn’t stop the Pacers from trying to make a major splash.
