Los Angeles Lakers

Could Chris Paul be heading to another locker room, but be staying in the same city?

More from LA Sports Hub

The Lakers have players who can play point guard, yet are more successful at shooting guard. Additionally, the Lakers have an opportunity to draft a point guard with a top three pick.

If they were to sign Chris Paul in free agency maybe they draft a future point guard who can be mentored by Paul. if they don’t then one of the current players who play point can be mentored by Paul if he joins LA.

Chris Paul in the past wanted to play with Kobe Bryant in LA but the trade was rejected by former NBA Commission David Stern. Had the trade actually gone through Paul would have had won a championship most likely. Instead he found himself across the court in LA with the Clippers.

Now he has thought of the idea of joining the Lakers. This time he would be able to lead the team to the playoffs and have younger players do all the hard work since they are full of energy and youth.
