. PF. UCLA. Ike Anigbogu. 6. player. 38

Despite being ranked as the fourth best power forward according to a chart by CBS Sports, there’s a lot to like about Ike Anigbogu. Orlando will need someone good at that position from this draft, and chances are that Lauri Markkanen will not be available after the top five.

More from LA Sports Hub

Selecting Anigbogu means believing that he’d be a better guy all around that prospects like Johnathan Motley and Isaiah Hartenstein, but that’s a gamble the Magic may be willing to take.

Overall, their biggest concern for him should be his health.

Injury ended his first and only season with UCLA, and that’s not something to take lightly at the next level. There have been plenty of top talent in the past, some even taken first overall, who have succumbed to injury throughout their career.

While that’s the hope with Anigbogu, taking him sixth overall gives him a chance to grow under Aaron Gordon. There will be plenty of possible roster changes for them throughout the summer, even after the draft and into the regular season.

If Anigbogu doesn’t pan out like they want or the growth trajectory isn’t there, trading him could come into play down the road.
