PF. Arizona. Lauri Markkanen. 5. player. 67.

Before Sacramento makes the move for Justin Jackson at tenth overall, they’ll get to decide the fifth pick in the NBA Draft. With that pick, it would make sense to get another forward that is going to do them good in the long term.

More from LA Sports Hub

Lauri Markkanen, the top rated power forward, makes that an easy for Sacramento.

Kosta Koufos is the only player keeping Markkanen from a starting gig with the Kings in his first year, and that could come later in the regular season if not right away.

Markkanen shined in college at Arizona, where the Finland native averaged 15.6 points, and 7.2 rebounds per game.

He practically averaged no assists with the Wildcats, so the Kings won’t have that same passing ability that was here and there with Cousins down low.

Depending on that asset from other players isn’t a bad thing, it’s just something they’ll need to be ready for moving forward.
