Lonzo Ball could be selected as the third overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft.

Lonzo Ball is one of many guards in the 2017 NBA Draft. The Boston Celtics have the number one pick and too many guards on their roster.

Boston needs a big man who is physical, therefore there is the assumption they are drafting a big man. It is a surprise to the NBA world.

The Lakers have had their eyes on Ball yet they don’t need a another point guard as well. Los Angeles needs a small forward behind Brandon Ingram.  LA needs a player with great defense because defense wins championships.

There is no doubting the skill set of Ball. However, they will not want to deal with his father. Lavar Ball is just building a business and brand. Hence, why Lonzo Ball is the best fit for the Philadelphia 76ers.

Ball will impact any team he plays on. The former UCLA Bruin alongside other recently acquired players will make the 76ers a playoff team.

Philadelphia needs some more star power alongside skills to make themselves a playoff team. They also need money just as every team does to attract and sign marquee free agents.

If the 76ers draft Ball they also get Big Baller Brand and Lavar Ball. This will help everyone. Fans will buy tickets to see the 76ers play and they will by gear from Lavar Balls’ family business. Since his son is primed to be a star player they will buy the gear.

By drafting Ball the 76ers will be a playoff team and would have a decent bench. Building their bench is the easy task. Moving players around to their respective positions and new ones is the difficult task. Their starting lineup will consist of multiple first round picks.

The starters would be PG Lonzo Ball, SG Robert Covington, SF Ben Simmons, PF Jahlil Okafor, C Joel Embiid. Now this lineup is full of athletes who will change the team.

Ball playing for the 76ers would make them a playoff team playing alongside the rest of the starters who are future All-Stars. Ball is the next piece puzzle for the 76ers to be a contender.
